This is about the second time this week that the Heavy Metal channel has made it into the Top 40. Congratulations to all the heavy metal fans who visited today. That makes 9 out of Top 40 channels are about music. There is hope for the human race after all!
Seriously, the success of any one of our channels, who we all love dearly and equally well, of course, indicates some glimmer of hope for the future of the world. As for heavy metal - many are of the opinion that it is the only genre currently expressing the younger generation's [and of the rest of us, but who's counting] frustration with the global political polarization - which is a fascinating perspective, in my opinion, and one I think about a lot when I hear new metal.
